The Freudenthal Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (FIsme) aims to improve education in the fields of arithmetic, mathematics, and the sciences, with a focus on primary, secondary and vocational education. The Institute contributes towards this aim through research, teaching, curriculum development and services
Mission statement: The Boulder campus of the university of Colorado shall be a comprehensive graduate research university with selective admissions standards, and shall offer a comprehensive array of undergraduate, masters, and doctoral degree programs.
The mission of the School of Education includes several, interconnected elements. Faculty conduct research to improve educational policies and classroom practice, prepare researchers at the doctoral level, educate teachers at the undergraduate and masterís levels in high quality programs, and provide exceptional services to our partner school districts and Colorado.
