Abstract
Learn Synthetic Biology in an engaging way: This school package explains the problem of antibiotic resistance and a way to tackle it using Synthetic Biology. The SYNPEPTIDE project presents an alternative approach to deal with the growing threat of multidrug-resistant bacteria: lantibiotics, a special type of antibiotics, come to help. The materials consist of class room modules and an educational game. The school package allows users to integrate the knowledge about amino acids and proteins with the application of this knowledge to tackle the problem of drug resistance.
