Meet the DME.
Meet the DME...
The DME is a digital environment for the education and testing of mathematics. Interactive teaching-methods and good feedback from about the progression and level of the class play a central role. Teachers can view, assess, and register the student's work. The DME can, of course, be easily adapted to match a school's teaching-methods or a class' requirments by developing your own activities (modules). Some of these functions require a license currently only available to the Netherlands and Belgium.

DME Subscription
To gain access to more advanced features, the schools can obtain a DME-subscription*. This subscription provides the following advantages:
  • Teachers get additional rights within the DME through an account. This will allow them to create virtual classrooms within the DME, and provide specific modules to the students in these classrooms.
  • Teachers can evaluate their student's work in great detail.
  • The progression of virtual classrooms can easily be assessed through a simple overview .
  • Teachers and adapt and modify the DME-modules to match their own teaching-method.
  • Teachers can develop their own digital material tailor-made towards their own students using the DME-authoring tools.
  • It is possible to share custom-made digital material with other schools.
  • A school-account provides the opportunity for digital exams

*the DME-subscription is currently only available in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The DME is Cross Platform
An important idea behind the DME is, that good digital education should be available for everyone independant of the operating system that they use. To achieve this goal we originally developed the DME in JAVA to make sure it was compatible with desktop computers running either Windows, Linux, or OSX.

Recently we've converted our code-base to modern web-technologies to further extend compatible devices. While still in beta, this HTML5 version runs on both Android and iOS.

The DME has been extensively tested on different systems.
